Head of the Department of Ophthalmology, Seirei Hamamatsu General Hospital; Visiting Professor, Shizuoka University; Clinical Professor, Seirei Christopher University; Visiting Professor, The Graduate School for the Creation of New Photonics Industries. Since 2006, he has advanced AI research in ophthalmology at leading institutions including Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the UCL Institute of Ophthalmology in the UK, as well as The University of Tokyo Hospital and the Eye Centre at Seirei Hamamatsu General Hospital.
